6th Grade Barrier Island Trip
The 6th graders of the Pine Lake Preparatory Middle School just returned from a 3 day Expedition to Barrier Island, SC. While at Barrier Island they took classes in ecology, ocean life, estuaries. They set goals to become more “Green” through eating with no waste. The highlight of the Expedition was the journey down the beach to the mudpit in which they had time to play and learn about the living creatures that exist in the muddy environment.
