Pine
Pine Lake Preparatory is committed to providing an exemplary education
within the public school environment and is proud to be an Honor
School of Excellence. However, the charter school funding model makes
it critical that families and the local community be a key component
to capital investments that further enhance the education experience.
The Kaleidoscope Foundation is a group of parent volunteers that
establishes and implements fundraising programs in support of the
expansion and continuous improvement of Pine Lake Preparatory.
2011 Major Event Fundraising Results:

2012 Major Fundraising Initiatives and 'Hold-the-Date' Information:
- Denim Days – A $5 donation allows students to have a dress down day with jeans on the first Friday of each month.
- Celebration Circle - A new donation of $1,000 enables students, family members, and/or Academic Partners to have their individual cut-out added to the Celebration Circle fence.
- Pine Lake Preparatory Golf Tournament & Silent Auction - PLP Community members can participate as players, sponsors, sponsor solicitors, or volunteers. HOLD THE DATE - Please join us this year on Monday, May 21st at the Peninsula Club! More information to come.
- Circle of Pride Annual Fund - Kaleidoscope Foundation's annual 2-week fall event which affords the opportunity for PLP families to assist the PLP capital campaign by raising funds through the external community.
- Kaleidi Extended Day Program – This wonderful after school program led by our very own Kari Jolly began during 2011/2012 school year and is off to a great start. All net revenue goes directly to the PLP capital campaign for future campus expansion. We encourage PLP families who are currently using outside extended day programs OR those who are contemplating enrolling their children in such a program, to consider keeping the revenue 'in-house'. Feel free to contact Kari Jolly (kjolly@pinelakeprep.org) directly for additional details.
