Pine Lake Prep will accept special needs children under the federal legislation Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) (20 U.S.C. 1400 Et seq.) and the state legislation (G.S. 115C-106 Et seq.). As appropriate for the admission to the charter school. Also, Pine Lake Prep will abide by the charter school legislation, G.S. 115C-238.29F(g)(5), as stated below:
A charter school shall not discriminate against any student on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, gender, or disability.
