Thank you for your interest in Pine Lake Preparatory. Pine Lake will begin accepting applications for employment on January 15, 2007. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis

Please be advised of the following as you consider Pine Lake Preparatory:

Step 1:

Pine Lake seeks exemplary personnel who are committed to furthering the mission of Pine Lake Preparatory and the goals and purposes as outlined in our charter. Please carefully review the information found at the web site to assure that as an individual you have an understanding and appreciation of the Pine Lake educational environment.

Step 2:

Begin assembling the information that will be required for submission in the Employment Applications Packet as follows:

  1. Employment Application Form (provided by Pine Lake Preparatory)
  2. Copy of a current resume
  3. Copy of most recent transcript (Undergraduate or Graduate)
  4. Copy of the most current teaching certificates (North Carolina and others, as applicable)
  5. Copy of Background Investigation Check (from December 2005 forward)

Three letters of reference:

Three to Five photographs of your current classroom or workspace

Two 250 word essays written in your own handwriting:

  1. What is your philosophy of teaching?
  2. Discuss a book, you have read in the last two years, which has impacted your classroom teaching.

One 100 word essay: What will our students, families, and educational community receive by your becoming a member of the Pine Lake Preparatory community?
