PLP Wins State Wells Fargo Cup for 3rd Consecutive Year

Out of 106 schools in the 2A classification, PLP ranked first, for three years running!

"Winning the Wells Fargo cup for the third year in a row is a testament to the hard work of our coaches and student athletes," said Athletic Director, Brett Hayford.

Fall Coaches 

Varsity Soccer: Paul Ebenhoeh

From Oxford, MI and played club soccer at Saginaw Valley State Univ. This is year #12 as the men's varsity head coach and teacher in the Upper School. At 143-73-11, he is a 4-time Conference Coach of the Year, 3-time Regional Coach of the Year, 1-time State Coach of the Year, 2020-21 State Champion and serves as a regional rep and state rep for the NCSCA (North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association).


Varsity Cross Country: Gary Fravel

Gary recently moved to the area from Atlanta where he coached elementary and middle school runners through a club his family co-founded in 2011. Both of Gary’s sons ran as youth and in high school, with his oldest running Division I college track & field, all four years. Gary works for Truist Bank and he and his wife Lynn live in the Langtree area.
