Board of Directors

The Pine Lake Preparatory Board of Directors consists of nine volunteers that are focused on strategic planning, policy, governance and fiscal responsibility for PLP. We bring many years of experience from various industries, including: manufacturing, banking, accounting, law, collegiate education, IT and healthcare. This experience, in addition to previous board and civic leadership, allows our Board of Directors to work collaboratively and proactively on issues that impact PLP.  We are passionate about Pine Lake Preparatory and we spend a great deal of our time supporting the endeavors of our leadership team, our teachers, and ultimately, our students.

As a community member, there are multiple ways to get involved.  Attend the monthly meetings and hear first hand about the exciting things that the Board is working on right now. Meetings are generally held the fourth Wednesday of each month; details are posted on the Board News page. Community members are welcomed to observe the open sections of our meetings as well as speak during “Public Comment.”

Also, consider joining a Board Committee. The Board does much of its work between monthly meetings through committees, which report at the monthly meetings and make recommendations for the full Board. Many of these committees need community members; this information is posted on the Board News page and there will be periodic requests for volunteers throughout the year.

Finally, consider the skills and experience you can contribute to Pine Lake Prep by serving as a member of the Board of Directors.  Elections and appointments are held each spring; information is posted on the Board News page as well as distributed to each PLP family and posted in local newspapers prior to election season.

We encourage you to become involved. Whether you have a student at Pine Lake Prep or not, you have an opportunity to positively impact your community in a very real and tangible way; now and for years to come.  We feel honored to be a part of this successful school and are so proud of the PLP team and the students.
