Explore the vibrant world of After3@PLP, Pine Lake Preparatory's hub of post-school adventures! Established in 2011, our Extended Day Program provides a secure, on-site haven for families seeking an engaging after-school option. Renamed in 2016, After3@PLP now encompasses a diverse array of after-school activities, including extended day care, enriching opportunities, and an assortment of clubs tailor-made for Lower Schoolers.
Our unwavering mission has been consistent since inception: curate a safe, enriching after-school environment that not only captivates each student's interest but also contributes substantially to their academic, social, and physical development. Lower School children from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade, along with their Middle School siblings, are warmly welcomed to partake in the After3@PLP Extended Day experience.
In addition to our renowned Extended Day Program, we offer a rotating series of enrichments throughout the year, each lasting 7 weeks, providing a dynamic learning landscape.
Emphasizing structure and variety, our After School Program adheres to a daily routine that incorporates snack time, homework assistance, and a blend of social and educational activities thoughtfully crafted for each age group (Kindergarten, 1, 2/3, 3/4, 5+). Our schedule seamlessly aligns with the school calendar, ensuring consistency throughout the year.

After3@PLP Extended Day Care Program Information
Program Hours:
The After3@PLP Program will begin at "All Call" and will end at 6:00pm. We follow the school calendar, so if the school is closed for teacher work days or breaks, After3@PLP is also closed. Parents/Guardians who arrive after 6:00pm will be assessed a late fee. In the event PLP is closed for inclement weather or other emergency, After3@PLP will not operate. This includes early dismissal due to weather.
Program Location:
All classes regardless of grade level will be in our Lower School
Program Schedule:
All classes will receive snack, homework time, recess time and age appropriate activities. We work with our daytime teachers to develop activities that engage and enforce what they are learning in their day classes. In Kindergarten and first grade, we spend small group time working on "homework" which may be sight words, reading books and math games. In our upper grade levels, we give the children more time to focus on the homework that their teacher gives them, while giving support when they need assistance.
Pick Up Information:
Please use the PikMyKid application to schedule pick ups for your child. When you arrive on campus, please "announce" that you are here and our Front Desk Staff will have your child in the lobby waiting for you. You must come into the building to pick up your child. If your student needs to change their assignment or designation, please contact the After3 Director.

Enrichments are a way to participate in activities on a 6 week rotation. THESE CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL LOWER SCHOOL STUDENTS. The classes vary in grade levels, so you will only have access to the classes available to your student
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you pro-rate your tuition for the After School Program? Yes; you only pay for the days that PLP After3@PLP is OPEN. We take the total cost and divide it by 10 equal payments. Even though we are closed for various breaks in the school year (Fall, Winter and Spring Breaks) you are not paying for those days your child does not attend.
Do you offer homework assistance in Extended Day? Absolutely! If your child is struggling to complete their homework, please reach out to Mrs. Stratford. All teachers are available to assist your child, please note this is not private tutoring, but assistance is available. Our teachers do not have access to your child's assignments or to their Canvas page.
How do I pay for After3@PLP? All payments are to be processed through My Payments Plus. You will receive an email that you have a new fee available to pay. If you do not receive this email, please reach out to Mrs. Stratford.
After3@PLP follows the PLP Academic Calendar. We are not open during Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring Breaks or Teacher Work Days.
Please note: If there is a special "by grade" dismissal change or day off (Kindergarten Screening or Middle School EOG's), we are unable to provide care outside of our normal schedule.
