The student technology program at Pine Lake Prep is a fundamental part of our educational experience. We strive to expand technology usage and innovative learning opportunities by equipping students with quality devices, software, and support. We believe that MacBooks/iPads and applications they support help graduate students who are college and career ready.

All students in grades K-5 are assigned an iPad for use at school and home.  A case is provided with all iPads and must remain on the iPad at all times.

Students in grades 6-12 are assigned a 13″ MacBook Air for home and school use.  Hard cases must be purchased by students/families (case for model A1932).  Keyboard covers cannot be used. An example of a case can be found here.

In general, we do not collect devices for the summer.  This allows students to continue to use their device over the summer months.  Students in 2nd, 5th, and 12th grade will turn in their devices at the end of the year.  We may on occassion collect devices for maintenance or refresh.

Any issues with a device must be handled by PLP Technology.  Please do not ever take a student device to Apple or a 3rd party repair company.
