Canvas
Canvas Is our main tool for accessing assignments for students, grading, and school/home communication.
Each parent/guardian will need an observer account. A Pairing Code is needed and can be generated by having your child log into their Canvas account. Under their Settings, there is an option to create a Pairing Code on the right side of the screen.

Infinite Campus
North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has transitioned our Student Information System from Powerschool to Infinite Campus. This new student information system allows parents and students access to grades, attendance, and, schedules.

Lunch Orders
Please log in here and sign up for an account to order lunch for your children throughout the upcoming school year. After you activate your account, you will need a campus code to add your children.

Transportation
PLP offers bus transportation to specific locations in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and Mooresville.

Uniforms
Pine Lake Preparatory requires uniforms for all students. The policy is in effect every school day, including field trips. Advance notice will be given for any event that does not require uniforms. In such instances, students are required to follow the non-uniform guidelines. .
Pine Lake Preparatory is sensitive to the needs of families in meeting the uniform requirements. The parent or guardian of a student may contact the school counselors regarding requirements for financial assistance for uniforms.

Financial Assistance

Volunteer Background Checks
All volunteers who will work in an unsupervised capacity with students must have a current background check on record with the school. Some ways that parents with background checks can assist are: chaperoning field trips, escorting students from place to place, etc.

- Follow the steps to submit your volunteer background check, and pay a $11.95 fee via credit card.
Spirit Rock Signup
The Spirit Rocks, located beside the Fine Arts building, Lower School and Upper School, are available for painting birthday messages as well as messages of congratulations or well-wishes to students. Rock reservations will be on a first-come/first-served basis. You may start painting the rock at 5:00 pm on the day BEFORE your reserved date (i.e. if you reserved the rock for a Tuesday, you may start painting at 5:00 pm on Monday evening). The cost of rock is $10.00/day and payment will be collected on My Payments Plus within 48 hours of creating your reservation to successfully secure your date(s).

Transcript Requests
Transcript requests for CURRENT students:
If you are a CURRENT STUDENT at Pine Lake Preparatory Upper School, there is no fee for sending your official transcripts. PLP students can get an unofficial copy of their transcript as needed from the PLP Counseling Department.
Transcript requests for FORMER students only:
There is a $5.00 fee per transcript if you are a graduate or former student of Pine Lake Preparatory Upper School. Payment can be made via MyPaymentsPlus in the "Various Other" tab. Instructions for MyPaymentsPlus registration are below. Transcripts will not be sent until payment is confirmed.

Your request will be processed as quickly as possible, however, please note that we do ask for a 5 day window to process your request.

Title IX
Pine Lake Preparatory does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs or activities and is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 and federal regulations to not discriminate in such a manner. This requirement extends to admission and employment. The board will not tolerate discrimination on the basis of sex, including any form of sexual harassment as that term is defined under Title IX, in any program or activity of the school system.
Every employee of Pine Lake Prep has a duty, by law, to report allegations of sexual harassment & misconduct.
Inquiries about the application of Title IX and its implementing federal regulations may be referred to the school district's Title IX coordinator and/or the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights in the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education.
