MS School Supplies and Summer Reading
There are two options for purchasing supply lists. Families may purchase a Supply Kit from PTO, which includes all materials needed for your child and is shipped to PLP; or they may purchase on their own, using the lists provided below.
Please use these lists if you choose to shop on your own. (To be posted first week of June).

RISING 6th GRADE-
Please choose ONE novel to read from the following list:
Out of my Mind by Sharon Draper
Stormbreaker (Alex Rider) by Anthony Horowitz
The Lightning Thief: Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1 by Rick Riordan
Students will complete an assignment based on their novel when we return to school in the fall.
RISING 7th GRADE-
Our 7th grade book choice for summer reading is to choose a fiction book or graphic novel (fiction book with pictures) to read.
We will complete a reader response assignment when we return to school.
RISING 8th GRADE-
Our 8th grade book choice for summer reading is to choose a biography, an autobiography or a memoir of someone that interests you or would like to know more about.
We will give the choice board of assignments when we return to school in the fall.
