Lions Share Pledge Campaign: Building the Future One Piece at a Time

Building the Future One Piece at a Time is a capital campaign focused on raising the funds needed to construct a state-of-the-art Academic Building and to support the renovation of our athletic facilities. Together, these investments will ensure our campus continues to meet the evolving needs of our students, staff, and programs—today and for generations to come.
 

Project Timeline: As we look ahead to this next chapter, we are hopeful to break ground on these projects as early as this spring. That said, bringing that vision to life will depend on the generous support of our families and community. Our refinance has positioned us to begin, yet it is philanthropy that will provide the momentum to move from plans to progress and ensure we build the classrooms, spaces, and athletic facilities our students and staff need and deserve.

 

 

Over the last decade, PLP’s academic and athletic programs have thrived. Our students are excelling in classrooms, on stages, and on athletic fields. U.S. News & World Report
once again recognized us as one of the top elementary, middle, and high schools in North Carolina. Our academic excellence continues to set us apart, and our athletic program has earned four state championships in the past six months alone. It’s no surprise that more than 4,000 students remain on our waitlist each year, hoping to join this incredible community. With that success, however, comes the responsibility to look ahead. Our needs today are not driven by a desire to increase enrollment, they are driven by our obligation to prepare students for what lies ahead, to grow the programs that define us, and to ensure that our teachers and staff have the space they need and deserve to deliver exceptional instruction. Quite simply, we have outgrown our current facilities. To continue meeting the needs of our students and staff, we must now add a new academic building that will provide much-needed classroom, meeting, and office space.
