Pine Lake Preparatory won the Wells Fargo Cup, for the second straight year, after moving up a class to 2A, edging out Community School of Davidson.

Mr. Jeff Walker, Pine Lake Engineering teacher, received a $10,000 prize from the N.C. Education Lottery, for being one of 10 School Heroes.
